Irving Berlin's White Christmas Second Season Orpheum Theatre San Francisco, California :September 26,2005- December 31, 2005- Matthew returned to New York Where he rehearsed for the second season of White Christmas. This holiday season Matthew has returned to San Francisco in Irving Berlin’s White Christmas. Matthew was a part of the World Premiere company of this show last season as the understudy for the Phil Davis role and a member of the ensemble. He is thrilled to have returned to the show. Based on the classic film of the same title, the show will again be directed by Walter Bobbie with choreography by Randy Skinner and musical direction by Rob Berman. The show features a new book by David Ives and additional songs by Irving Berlin that are not found in the movie. It will be playing at San Francisco's Orpheum Theatre. Wizard Of Oz September 13- September 25, 2005     **August 23, 2005- Matthew starts rehearsal for the "Wizard of Oz" at American Musical Theatre of San Jose. He will be understudying the roles of the Scarecrow/ Hunk and will be an active member of the show's ensemble.Wizard of Oz will preview on Monday September 12, 2005 and will open on Tuesday September 13, 2005 and will continue to run until closing on Sunday September 25, 2005. Most of you are familiar with the much cherished 1939 movie version of The Wizard of Oz, starring Judy Garland. This American classic is based on L. Frank Baum's fantastic children's book, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, written in 1899.
